Job summary

The Park Community School is currently recruiting casual Exams Invigilators to work with staff, candidates and other invigilators to ensure the smooth running of examinations in accordance with publicised regulations and school policies.

Full training will be provided. Working hours are mornings and/or afternoons between 8:30am and 3:30pm. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK with no sponsorship available, and there is no formal closing date for this vacancy.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Confident and assertive manner
• Flexible approach to working hours
• Minimum availability of eight sessions per week during May/June/early July, November/December, and February

Responsibilities

• To assist in the smooth running of examinations
• To ensure candidates comply with awarding body and college regulations
• To scribe for pupils with special needs if directed by the Exams Officer
• To supervise candidates in a professional, quiet and unobtrusive manner and respond to queries per regulations
