Job summary

Sir James Smith's School is looking to recruit exam invigilators on a casual basis to supervise examinations during school hours. Roles include setting up venues, distributing papers, and supervising students.

Applicants should be reliable, responsible and able to follow instructions. Previous experience with young people is advantageous; training will be provided. A DBS check is required. This casual, term-time position covers exam dates throughout the school year.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the exam room.
• Hand out/collect exam papers.
• Supervise students during the examination.
• Assist students with Special Needs or Access Arrangements as reader or scribe.
• Ensure compliance with JCQ exam rules and regulations.
