Job summary

E-ACT Heartlands Academy invites applications for an Exam Invigilator to support the smooth running of examinations within our school. You will ensure exam regulations are followed, maintain a calm environment, and assist students throughout the assessment process.

This casual role offers an opportunity to contribute to a supportive school community. Key duties include invigilating exams, laying out materials, ensuring consistent exam experiences, and recording attendance.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English minimum grade 4 or equivalent is desirable
• Willingness to participate in relevant training and development opportunities
• Experience of using ICT packages i.e. Microsoft Word, Access & Excel

Responsibilities

• Invigilate examinations following documented processes, procedures and regulations to ensure examinations are run in a secure, confidential and suitable environment
• Ensure both students and the Academy comply with regulations and provide a consistent exam experience
• Lay out examinations with relevant materials as directed by Line Manager
• Assist students entering the examination room
• Record attendance/absence from the examination by completing examination registers
