Are you looking for something a little bit different?

We're seeking Duty Managers who want to work in our exciting, fast-paced, and interesting company.

The Duty Manager is responsible for the venue during performance times. They ensure smooth operations by maintaining customer and staff safety, managing risks, adhering to licensing procedures, providing excellent customer service, ensuring financial accuracy, maximizing sales opportunities, and keeping the venue clean and presentable.

This role offers variety, fun, and challenge. You'll handle a range of tasks as part of a friendly, passionate, and ambitious team, working in a unique venue with a dynamic programme of events.

If you have the skills to help us achieve our goals and share our values, we'd like to hear from you! Experience in the entertainment sector is not essential; we encourage applications from diverse backgrounds, including those underrepresented in the industry. You must be aged 18+ for this position.

If selected, you will be invited to an assessment session on July 22nd or 23rd. Successful candidates must attend an induction on August 5th.

About the Venues

The Opera House, located in Manchester's Quay Street in the Spinningfields district, is a Grade II listed building with a classical design and a capacity suitable for musicals, dance, drama, comedy, and pantomime. It has hosted world premieres of shows like Back To The Future and & Juliet.

The Palace Theatre is another iconic venue, originally built as the "Palace of Varieties" and extensively remodeled. It hosts major West End productions such as Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia, and Hamilton.
