B. Braun Avitum (UK) Limited in Cardiff is recruiting a Casual Healthcare Assistant to support dialysis units and help keep the service running smoothly.

You will assist nursing staff, manage stock, keep areas clean, and prepare the clinical space for patient treatments, with a need to travel between centres as required. Shifts are long days from 06:45 to 18:15, Monday to Saturday, with no Sunday or night shifts.

Aufgaben

• Provide general assistance to nursing staff with patient care in the treatment room.
• Liaise with transport and other departments to arrange appointments.
• Escort patients to wards, blood specimens and pharmacy errands.
• Monitor and record patients’ weights pre- and post-dialysis.
• Prepare and serve patients with refreshments.
• Preparation of the clinical area.
• Maintain stocks and supplies within treatment areas.
• Undertake housekeeping duties.
