Job description

We are seeking a Casual Delivery Driver to support library services in Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire. Responsibilities include delivering new stock and transporting books and other items between branches.

The delivery routes commence and conclude at Borough Hall in Bedford. The role involves covering for drivers on leave or sick leave, requiring flexibility for short notice work. Candidates must possess a valid, clean driving license and be capable of lifting and moving boxes of books.

A driving assessment will be required for this role.
