Casual Cover Supervisor

Hourly rate: £16.90 (including holiday entitlement)

Job Purpose:

We are seeking to appoint a casual cover supervisor to deliver pre-planned work in the classroom for absent colleagues. The role involves working on an ad-hoc basis to provide classroom cover, sometimes at short notice. This may include covering for one lesson, a whole day, or an extended period. The main responsibilities include ensuring students are engaged in pre-set work, managing student behaviour, and maintaining a safe environment.

About the School:

St Peter’s R.C. High School & Sixth Form Centre is a mixed 11–18 school with 1500 pupils. The Sixth Form comprises 330 students, including KS5 students who demonstrate leadership and progress to various destinations such as prestigious universities and apprenticeships. Approximately 20% of students receive Pupil Premium funding, and 27% have special needs or disabilities.
