Job summary

Hilton is hiring a Casual Conference and Events Assistant to join our Hotels team. This part-time role offers flexible shifts on a casual contract, with opportunities to work additional hours and enjoy free meals when on duty.

You will prepare event spaces, support event delivery, serve refreshments and maintain high standards. You’ll work as part of a team to create memorable experiences for guests and ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

• Prepare event spaces: Set up meeting rooms, conference spaces, and banquet areas according to event requirements, ensuring all layouts and equipment are ready for guests.

• Support event delivery: Assist with the smooth running of conferences, meetings, banquets, and special events by providing attentive service and responding to guest needs.

• Serve refreshments: Deliver food and beverage service during events, ensuring guests receive prompt, professional, and friendly service throughout.

• Maintain event standards: Monitor meeting and event spaces to ensure they remain clean, organised, and presented to the highest standard at all times.

• Promote a safe environment: Keep all conference and event areas hazard-free, following health, safety, and operational procedures.

• Work as part of a team: Collaborate with colleagues across the hotel to deliver exceptional events and create positive experiences for every guest.
