Looking for a new challenge?

We are seeking Support Workers / Intervenors to join our Intervenor Service in the North London area, supporting locations such as Waltham Cross & Watford.

Provide 1:1 support to children and adults with congenital Deafblindness, promoting personal and social development and encouraging independence through access to activities.

No prior professional care experience required; specialist training in dual-sensory impairments will be provided!

Must have a full UK driving license and own vehicle.

We are recruiting for bank/relief Intervenors, with potential for permanent roles based on individual needs. Available hours include:

  • Child in Waltham Cross – 4 hours/week: Supporting communication development using play and sensory activities.
  • Child and Adults in Watford – 16 hours/week: Supporting arts, crafts, role play, and community access.
  • Additional opportunities include supporting sensory activities in Rickmansworth and community access for adults.

This role may involve supporting individuals with:

  • Daily activities and independence
  • Home-based activities for sensory needs and communication
  • Personal care and hygiene
  • Community outings
