Job summary

Oasis Academy Hadley in Enfield is seeking a Casual Cleaner to join our site team. You will maintain a clean, safe environment for learners, handle day-to-day cleaning tasks, and support site operations under the direction of the Site Team Manager.

The role offers casual hours on an as-and-when basis, with pay at £15.93 per hour and eligibility for the Local Government Pension Scheme. Training and development opportunities are available to help you contribute to a high standard of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties.
• Ability to manage time effectively to carry out day-to-day operations.
• Awareness of legislation relating to working around children and young people.

An opportunity has arisen at Oasis Academy Hadley for a Casual Cleaner to join our team, taking pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our learners by keeping cleanliness to a high standard and undertaking necessary procedures to assist with day-to-day maintenance.

Job overview

As part of our wider school team, you will have responsibility for the overall cleanliness and security of the school classrooms and site, having awareness of security policies, maintaining supplies of cleaning materials, and working with other members of the site team to keep the site to a standard expected by leadership and management.

Job requirements

• Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties
• Ability to manage time effectively in order to carry out day-to-day operations and assist with the smooth running of the school
• Awareness of the relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working around children and young people

Salary:

£15.93 per hour plus local government pension scheme.

Working Pattern:

As and when basis as agreed with the Site Team Manager. (Casual)
