We are looking forCHEFSto join our team of casual staff inTauranga, Mt Maunganui & Papamoa regions.

We are looking for experienced Chefs to:

  • Oversee and manage the dining services team in busy kitchens within rest home/hospital/retirement villages.
  • Coordinate all aspects of kitchen food service delivery.
  • Ensure all residents enjoy meals created with love, creativity & passion!
  • Meet all food quality, budgetary & hygiene standards.
  • Lead and inspire the kitchen team, delivering meals at a high standard.
  • Maintain a clean, efficient, welcoming workspace.

  • You will need:

  • Food industry (Chef) qualification.
  • 2 years+ experience working in a busy commercial kitchen or café.
  • A Food Safety Certificate.
  • Excellent food hygiene skills, and excellent personal hygiene.
  • Amazing customer service, time management, communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage a team in a busy food preparation environment.
  • Access to reliable transport to travel to our clients’ facilities.
