Job Description

As a Chef De Rang in our luxury hotel, you will ensure the accurate and complete delivery of Food and Beverage services to guests in The Restaurant. Your responsibilities include collecting food and beverages from dispense and/or pass areas and serving them according to the standards set by the Standard Operating Manual (SOP). You will provide attentive service, ensure customer comfort, communicate any customer complaints, and attend meetings and training sessions as required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly, professional, helpful, and courteous service to guests and colleagues at all times.
  • Present the restaurant menu, advising on availability, daily specials, and promotions.
  • Take accountability for correct ordering, suggestive up-selling, billing, and processing payments.
  • Maintain the restaurant and hotel’s property and equipment.
  • Deliver Food and Drinks from the back of house to guests promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of all service areas.
  • Ensure constant guest engagement and coverage on the floor.
  • Participate in briefings before each service period and attend training sessions to enhance performance and knowledge.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu items.
  • Adhere to health, safety, emergency, fire, and hygiene procedures in line with company policies and regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of personal cleanliness, grooming, and hygiene.
  • Ensure proper handover at the end of shifts.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned, including redeployment to other departments if necessary.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a Michelin-starred or equivalent fine dining environment.
  • Professional training in hospitality or culinary arts.
  • Deep knowledge of gastronomy and wine pairing.
  • Attention to detail, presentation, and guest interaction.
  • Strong communication skills; fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Calm demeanor under pressure with a discreet and polished manner.
