Casual Caretaker – Barnsley

£23,126.48 Pro Rata, which equates to £12.02 Per Hour

Barnsley Norse is currently recruiting for a Caretaker to work on various sites throughout Barnsley.

As the Caretaker, you will ensure that school buildings and associated sites are maintained to the highest standards, providing a clean and safe environment for all on site. In addition to securing the site, you will be responsible for all day-to-day maintenance, ensuring the building is in good repair, with works planned around its service users.

You should be proactive, with excellent communication and customer service skills. Competence in all aspects of minor maintenance is required. Experience in a similar role with a clear understanding of Health and Safety practices is essential.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations

This position is offered on a casual contract basis, providing maximum flexibility with available AM and PM shifts.
