An established local authority is seeking a dedicated professional to join their Better Living Service. This role is pivotal in promoting healthier behaviors and lifestyles within the community. The Better Living Service contributes to tackling inequalities in health by promoting and supporting people to develop healthier behaviours and lifestyles.
The successful candidate will be required to deliver sessions across the whole of Calderdale and must be flexible to work across 7 days per week. The days and hours will vary depending on service commitments throughout the week.
The principal duties of this role include delivering 1-1 interventions in community settings and leisure centres.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting health and wellbeing, be organized, dynamic, and reliable.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All staff are expected to share this commitment. Applicants for posts exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act will require a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service before appointment.
