Job Opportunity: Casual Food and Beverage Staff

We have vacancies for casual, varied hours staff to assist in delivering a friendly, efficient, and high-quality food and beverage service at Derby Live events and catering functions. This includes working at the Arena, Derby Parks, Outdoor Events, and Guildhall, within the Catering & Bar Units.

Your responsibilities will include serving food, undertaking simple food preparations, assisting in the smooth operation of the café, and maintaining food service and preparation areas to a clean and hygienic standard.

Requirements

1. Previous experience in Catering and/or Commercial kitchens.
2. Numerate and literate with a good standard of general education.
3. Customer care awareness.
4. Experience working in a Bar and cash handling is desirable.
5. Level 2 Food Safety training is desirable.
6. Availability to work weekends and some evenings, with a flexible approach to working hours.
7. Ability to travel to different Derby Live locations.
8. Must be 18+ years old to comply with Licensing Laws for bar work.
