Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park Hotel and Country Club in Manchester is seeking a casual Bar Associate to support bar operations and guest service. Responsibilities include bar prep, greeting guests, advising on menu options and handling till transactions with MICROS, ensuring smooth service.

You will be part of a collaborative team, assist with food and beverage service including alcohol, and communicate with the kitchen on orders, dietary needs, and special requests.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and monitoring the bar areas for service and guest comfort
• Providing a warm welcome to guests, advising them of menu options and answering questions about products & services where necessary
• Record all transactions in the MICROS till system at time of order
• Food and beverage service, including alcohol
• Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, recook orders, and product availability. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
• Report any maintenance or security issues to supervisors.
• Participate in training when required
• Promoting a team working environment
