Job summary

Cranfield Conference Centre Ltd. is seeking a Casual Bar Assistant to join an exceptional team in Cranfield. You will deliver warm, welcoming service and uphold the highest standards of customer care.

Working hours are 11:00 to 23:00, seven days a week. Uniform and meals on duty are provided, and in-house training is offered. You must be eligible to work in the UK. Please submit your application promptly as the advert may close early.

Responsibilities

• Provide bar and table service to the correct standard.
• Prepare bar areas for service, replenish stock, and ensure seating areas are set up correctly.
• Maintain bar areas in a clean, hygienic condition including floors and stock storage.
• Control stock and takings accurately.
• Gain knowledge and experience in restaurant service operations.
• Follow all Food Handling and Hygiene guidelines at all times.

Casual Bar Assistant Conference Centre Ltd

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Ensure that all guests are cared for in a professional and welcoming manner and receive an exceptional level of customer service
• Provide bar and table service as required to the correct standard
• Prepare all bar areas for service, replenish all stock, condiments and cutlery for food orders, and ensure all seating areas are set up to the correct standard
• Ensure that all bar operational areas are maintained in a clean, tidy and hygienic condition, including floors, tables and stock storage areas
• Ensure careful control of stock and takings
• Opportunity to gain knowledge & experience working in restaurant service operations
• Follow all Food Handling and Hygiene guideline regulations at all times
• Carry out any other reasonable task as requested by a member of the management team

Working hours are between 11:00 and 23.00, Monday to Sunday. Number of shifts will vary per week. Shifts are available on as and when required basis as per business needs.

Uniform (excluding footwear) and meals on duty are provided
