Since 1929, The Great Room and The Ballroom have hosted royalty, presidents, actors, and musicians for London's most exclusive events. The Great Room is one of Europe's largest event spaces, capable of hosting 2,000 guests banquet-style, and is the jewel in Grosvenor House’s crown.

POSITION SUMMARY

1. Prepare for your shift by passing information between Doormen and checking with the Concierge for updates.
2. Maintain effective communication with colleagues and managers.
3. Perform reasonable requests from management.
4. Handle guest issues professionally, ensuring resolution and follow-up using the LEARN and Service Excellence processes, and track complaints via the Guest Response program.
5. Understand hotel fire and safety procedures.
6. Be flexible with working hours.
7. Maintain high personal hygiene standards and wear the proper uniform.
8. Keep the courtyard and entrances immaculate.
9. Stay informed about all hotel services and functions.
10. Welcome arriving guests and open doors for them.
11. Bid farewell to guests and open doors as they leave.
12. Assist with guest luggage.
13. Call taxis upon request, without prior driver arrangements.
14. Remain at your designated position at all times.
