Job description

Salary: Casual Assistant Youth Worker Level 1 £12.85 per hour plus 12.07% in lieu of annual leave

Location: Scunthorpe and surrounding areas

Hours: Casual

DBS: Yes Enhanced with Barred List Check

The Vacancy

Are you passionate about working with young people? We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Casual Assistant Youth Workers to join our team. As a Casual Assistant Youth Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people. This is a rewarding role that requires passion, creativity, and the ability to connect with young individuals. All youth centres and mobile youth provision plan using the Youth Curriculum which gives young people an opportunity to experience a wide range of activities.

We are looking for a person who:

  1. Is energetic, inspiring and an excellent role model
  2. Can talk with young people in an open and honest manner
  3. Can follow instructions and work under the direction of a Project Youth Worker
  4. Wants to make a local difference by helping children, young people and families
  5. Is great at talking to people and engaging them in activities and conversations
