Job summary

Oldham Active is seeking enthusiastic Aqua Instructors to join our casual instructor team across several leisure centres in Oldham. You will deliver safe, engaging water-based classes for all ages and abilities, creating a welcoming environment while supporting people on their health and fitness journeys.

Casual cover is needed for morning, afternoon, evenings and occasional weekends, with some female-only sessions. Closing date: Sunday, 6th September 2026. DBS clearance is required to apply.

Oldham Active is seeking enthusiastic and qualified Aqua Instructors to join our casual instructor team. With opportunities available across several of our leisure centres, this is a fantastic chance to become part of an organisation dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of local communities.

About the Role

As an Aqua Instructor, you'll deliver safe, fun and engaging water-based exercise classes that motivate participants of all ages and abilities. You'll help create a positive and welcoming environment while supporting individuals on their health and fitness journey.

We are looking for instructors who can provide casual cover for our existing class timetable where sessions run morning, afternoon and evenings, as well occasional weekend classes. There may be opportunities also for regular classes going forward. Some of our sessions are female only, so applications will be welcomed from female applicants who can provide cover for these sessions.
