Casual School Club Activity Leader

Zero hour contract

Operating Hours:

  • Breakfast club: 7:30-9:00am
  • After School club: 3:00-6:00pm

Salary: Up to £13 per hour

We are recruiting for a leading provider of out-of-school hours childcare for primary school children in the UK. This company continues to grow in size, quality, and scope every year. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about children’s play and activities, and who can inspire children!

As a Play Worker, no specific experience is required, but the ideal candidate will have:

  • A Passion for Working with Children: providing inclusive, fun, and engaging activities that inspire children to explore their interests.
  • Enthusiasm and Organisation Skills: assisting with planning and delivering activities, including multi-sports, indoor and outdoor games, arts & crafts, downtime, and structured play.
  • Responsibility and Reliability: ensuring the safety and enjoyment of children, following policies and procedures, completing accident and incident reports, and conducting safety checks.
  • Communication and Engagement: maintaining professional communication with team members, parents, children, and schools, representing the organization positively.
