About The Role & Who We’re Scouting

We’re on the lookout for passionate and skilled Therapists to join our squad at Leicester City Football Club on a Casual basis. As a Casual Academy Therapist, you’ll play a key role in supporting the development of leading-edge physiotherapy services for the Professional Development Phase (PDP) age groups within the Academy, specifically focusing on the delivery of rehabilitation and assisting with education and match day cover.

Your responsibilities will include assisting the Head of Academy Physiotherapy and age group Physiotherapists in the development, organisation and implementation of treatment and rehabilitation programmes and protocols for all academy players. Minimum Requirements

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in elite performance environments and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary sports science and medical department. You’ll need to meet specific essential criteria in order to be considered for this role, which includes:

1. BSc (Hons) Degree in Physiotherapy
2. HCPC/CSP Chartered Physiotherapist
3. FA Advanced Trauma Medical Management in Football (ATMMiF) qualification or equivalent
4. Previous experience in a similar role within an elite paediatric sporting environment
5. At least 5 years post graduate experience, including 2 years in elite sport
