Responsible for the delivery of high-quality goalkeeping coaching in line with the Youth Development/ Foundation Phase curriculum to all goalkeepers within their designated phase.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Deliver age specific Goalkeeping syllabus to players in their charge.
- Communicate effectively with all team members and reporting back to the Lead Academy Goalkeeping Coach and Phase Lead Coach.
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent goalkeeping coaching.
- Attend CPD events and Academy meetings as required.
- Use the ‘PMA’ to complete reviews and assessments of training sessions, fixtures, player feedback, 6 weekly reports, half year reports, ILO’s and ILP’s.
- Attend Academy fixtures and travel with the Academy Squads (where applicable).
- Be responsible for match day kits and training equipment.
- Cooperate fully with colleagues and be flexible when assisting them in response to business needs of the group.

About The Candidate
Qualifications, skills and Experience:
- FA Safeguarding Certificate
- UEFA Goalkeeping B Licence
- Hold a current FA Basic First Aid for Sport (BFAS) certificate
- FA Youth Award (mod 3)
- Proven coaching experience within an elite framework
- Ability to effectively manage time and resources
- An ability to differentiate tasks based on ability and key stages of player/ child development
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- IT literate, with the ability to use the full Microsoft Office package
- Ability to build effective working relationships with players, staff and parents Ability to organise own and others workloads and to prioritise effectively
- Ability to adapt and take on new initiatives Approachable and professional manner towards young people
- Self-motivated and professional manner towards young people
- Ability to work as part of a team
