A local primary school is seeking a passionate Early Years Practitioner for their Pre-school program starting in September 2025. The ideal candidate will develop strong relationships with children and parents, inspire young learners, and contribute positively to the school’s ethos. Castle Hill Primary School is seeking an outstanding Nursery Nurse to work in our Castle Tots Provision for children from 3 months to 3 years.

Castle Tots is a private Pre-school and part of Castle Hill Academy, a popular two-form entry primary school located in the Royal Borough of Kingston with excellent transport links. Opened in 2017, Castle Tots received an Ofsted rating of Good in 2021. Our practitioners are passionate about providing the best possible provision for our children and are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Nursery Nurses to join us on our journey.

We are looking for someone who:

  1. Can develop excellent relationships with children, their parents and carers, and colleagues,

  3. Understands that all children learn in different ways and knows how to support them effectively,

  10. Has strong knowledge of the Early Years Framework, Development Matters, and Birth to 5,
  11. Ideally has some experience with Makaton,
  12. Is an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills and a sense of humor,
  13. Is committed to contributing positively to the wider life and ethos of the school.
