The Role

Become part of the story of Belvoir Castle. We're looking for enthusiastic Volunteer Castle Guides to welcome visitors and bring the castle's rich history to life through engaging tours and conversation across our State Rooms and grounds.

• Answering visitor questions and helping create a memorable castle experience
• Keeping a friendly, watchful eye over the collections while visitors explore
• Working alongside our House team on open days

• A passion for history, heritage and storytelling
• Confident, friendly and comfortable speaking with groups of visitors
• Reliable and happy to commit to agreed volunteering days
• Previous guiding or public speaking experience is helpful but not essential
