What will you be doing?

Main responsibilities include:

• Using bank statements to identify customer accounts and remittance advices for daily BACS payments.
• Writing up cash sheets using Excel for all BACS, card, cash, and cheque receipts.
• Posting and accurately allocating all receipts into Kerridge using the cash sheets.
• Raising internal journals (IDJV) to retrieve or recharge other regions for received money.
• Maintaining cash sales and vehicle debtor accounts to ensure invoices and payments are cleared on time.
• Liaising with credit control to manage unallocated cash.
• Raising documents related to warranty transactions and allocating them accordingly.
• Posting sundry nominal ledger journals as required.
• Assisting team members with ad-hoc duties and providing cover when necessary.

• Have previous accounts/cashier experience
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Possess the ability to multitask and problem solve
• Perform well under pressure and deadlines
• Have good IT skills
• Be excellent team players

Working hours: Mon - Fri, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
