Job summary

Join G4S Cash Solutions as a Cash Processor in Manchester to provide essential, cash processing services to the local community. You will be at the heart of our operation, ensuring accuracy, security and timely handling of notes and coins.

You will follow stringent procedures in a highly regulated environment, working with cash management systems and a dedicated team to meet daily targets and maintain service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience handling cash and working with IT systems.
• Strong numeracy and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and operate to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Making up individual customer orders ensuring cash meets value, quality and denominations.
• Ensuring all operating and security procedures are followed.
• Using cash management systems for accurate counting and allocation.
• Meeting and exceeding personal and team productivity levels.
• Transferring customer orders to vaults for despatch.
• Undertaking training to develop and progress.
• Demonstrating attention to detail when receiving and recording orders.
• Completing all necessary paperwork accurately.
• Observing Health & Safety requirements in the department.
• Identifying discrepancies in notes/coins and escalating appropriately.
• Maintaining audit trail integrity.
• Carrying out other reasonable duties as required.
