Colten Care is seeking a Cash Processor in Manchester to support daily cash handling and processing operations. The role focuses on accurate cash distribution, adherence to security procedures, and efficient service delivery for internal customers.

You will work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment, counting cash, following strict procedures, and ensuring precise documentation while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• English communication both written and spoken is essential.
• Strong numeracy is important.
• Ability to follow specific procedures and instructions.
• Capable of working to tight deadlines.
• Cash handling experience and IT systems familiarity.
• Maintain security consciousness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Make up customer orders meeting value, quality and denominations.
• Follow operating and security procedures at all times.
• Use cash management systems for counting and allocation.
• Meet and exceed personal and team productivity levels.
• Transfer orders to vaults for despatch.
• Undertake training to develop and progress.
• Record orders accurately and complete paperwork.
• Observe Health & Safety requirements.
• Identify discrepancies in notes/coins and escalate.
• Maintain audit trails and act on it.
• Carry out other duties as reasonably required.
