Job summary

Magnet is seeking a Cash and Bank Specialist in Leeds to join our Finance team. You will manage daily cash and banking transactions, process customer refunds, complete reconciliations, and support cash forecasting, ensuring accuracy and strong controls in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Finance, banking, treasury or cash management experience would be advantageous.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel/finance systems and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash and banking transactions accurately and on time.
• Process customer refunds and finance-related payments per SLAs.
• Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items promptly.
• Investigate cash discrepancies and escalate/resolved issues efficiently.
• Support cash forecasting and reporting activities.
• Build strong relationships with store teams, finance teams and external partners to deliver excellent service.
• Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
