Job description

As Caseworker you will be responsible for processing National Security Vetting applications at the further and final research stage. You will use a wide range of tools to research and analyse adverse information, identifying key information and articulating assessments with clarity, and deliver assessments and decisions in a timely fashion.

Role responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Exercise strong judgement and make independent decisions whilst understanding what issues need to be escalated
• Liaise with customers throughout Government dealing with queries promptly and effectively
• Be adaptable to new situations and enthusiastic about contributing to positive changes wherever possible
• Manage a busy workload and be able to understand and follow policies, processes, and regulations
• Line manage a small team of Researchers and/or Assistant Caseworkers

The anticipated start date for this role will be early 2026.
