Look no further! We are delighted to be recruiting for a Caseworker in our SEND Placement and Governance Service Area. This isan exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team.
We are looking for an inspirational, motivated and organised individual who has knowledge and relevant experience of working within SEND legislation and procedures and can adapt to working in a fast-paced environment.
You should be passionate about supporting the improving outcomes for children who are vulnerable and have special educational needs. You should also have the resilience and tenacity to support and challenge settings to secure these outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you will have the ability to manage conflicting priorities and monitor legal timescales. You will be able to manage and prioritise your own workload and have knowledge of special educational needs practices and a commitment to learning new skills.
You will work alongside and receive support from the senior caseworker to secure appropriate placements for children who have special educational needs or who may have been permanently excluded from school. To achieve this, you will have an understanding of the statutory guidance relating to exclusions of children from school.
