Nottingham City Council is hiring a Casework Assistant to support the SEND Support Service with casework management and admin duties. The role involves liaising with parents and a wide range of professionals, including schools, educational psychologists and social workers, to fulfil statutory SEN responsibilities.
The position is hybrid (two office days per week) with the Woolsthorpe Depot as the primary site, and requires fluent English as an essential criterion under the Immigration Act.

The role is hybrid, with the expectation to complete two days in the office per week. The post holder must be willing to work at any location within the city and travel within and outside the city to meet the requirements of the role, however the primary office location will be Woolsthorpe Depot.
This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English, is an essential requirement for the role.
