We are looking for and enthusiastic individual to join our large case management team and are looking for:

In the role of Case Service Officer in licensing/Taxi’s/ENV Health you will be responding to daily emails from our Taxi drivers, Alcohol licensing and Env Health customers. There will be an expectation of managing queues, being able to prioritise your daily activities.
Here is what you will get up to:
•Gaining an understanding of the Taxi/Licensing and Environment Health work. Alcohol Licensing Temporary Events notices, Taxi licensing Processing applications renewals. Environmental Health – receiving pollution complaints by email and phone, Skin Piercing Animal Licences
•Triaging and replying to customers email responses to members of the public, other colleagues, and Councilors
•Receiving phone calls from customers/drivers having difficulties with their applications/service
•Using systems, Uniform, Microsoft Office including outlook, excel and word.
Working pattern:
•30 hours a week
•Working Monday to Friday, office hours 8:30 – 17:00.
•We are a hybrid working team, some days in the office and some at home. Training will occur in the office.
•It is a Fixed Term contract ending 24th December 2025
Requirements for the role:
•Processing information and decision making in line with a policy
•Essential Requirement Attention to detail, questioning thought process, seeing things through
•Essential Requirement Effective team working experience & ability to recognise work priorities.
•Essential Requirement Ability to communicate effectively with customers, partners & colleagues, using correct spellings and grammar.
•Essential Qualifications - Good standard of English and Maths at GCSE grade 4 or above or the equivalent work related experience
