Job summary

A regional law enforcement agency in Lowestoft seeks a Case Management Officer to help review traffic incidents and assess dashcam footage. We’re looking for aCase Management Officerto join our dedicated team, where your work will directly contribute to safer communities. You will be at the forefront of reviewing traffic incidents, assessing dashcam footage submitted by the public, and identifying offences for prosecution or alternative resolutions.

What you will be doing

  • Reviewing traffic incident evidence and dashcam clips to identify offences.
  • Preparing and submitting traffic offence files in line with legal and evidential standards.
  • Supporting decision-making processes with clear, reasoned analysis.
  • Communicating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Managing your workload with precision, accuracy, and attention to detail.

It is essential that applicants meet the following criteria:

  • Knowledge of the current law and procedures relating to evidential and legal requirements for the preparation, review and submission of traffic offence files
  • High level of communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to provide constructive advice and support
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills to analyse information from a number of sources identifying any deficiencies or shortcomings
  • Ability to form reasoned opinions, to consider various courses of action and support the decision making process
  • Administrative and organisational skills to prioritise and manage workloads within given deadlines whilst consistently achieving accuracy and quality standards showing attention to detail

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience within a Police or Legal Environment
  • Hold or working towards an appropriate criminal legal qualification (or equivalent e.g Certificate in Case Preparation)

Hours of work are 37 per week, Monday-Friday.
