Job summary

DivalentineCalver Recruitment LTD is seeking a capable Case Maker / Specialist Packer for their Colnbrook operation. You will manufacture bespoke timber cases and crates and pack a wide range of goods for domestic and international shipment.

The role requires experience with high-value or sensitive equipment, heavy/fragile items, and adherence to safety and packing instructions. A flexible employer with overtime opportunities and benefits awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience manufacturing wooden cases or crates.
• Experience packing high-value or sensitive equipment.
• Experience handling heavy, fragile or awkward items.
• Good practical skills with hand and power tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and safe working practices.
• The ability to work from measurements, drawings and packing instructions.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture timber cases, crates, skids and pallets to specification.
• Measure, cut and assemble timber using hand and power tools.
• Pack high-value, fragile and specialist equipment for shipment.
• Prepare goods for road, air and sea freight.
• Secure items using blocking, bracing, strapping and protective materials.
• Pack and prepare dangerous goods per company procedures.
• Apply shipping/handling marks and complete packing documentation.
• Carry out final quality checks before dispatch.
