Job summary

A leading manufacturer of bespoke containers in Crawley is seeking team members to assist with measuring, cutting, and assembling wooden panels. The ideal candidates will have practical woodworking skills, experience with power tools, and the ability to work physically. A full UK driving license and forklift experience are preferred. Qualifications

• Experience in building and assembling structures or furniture.
• Comfortable with using nail guns and table saws.
• Ability to work in a physical environment requiring lifting.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut wooden panels to size.
• Cut internal foam padding to shape.
• Assemble wooden panels using basic bench tools.

Job description

our client is an established manufacturer of bespoke wooden shipping containers. With a reputation second to none, they can design and build containers to transport anything from fine arts, painting, sculptures etc to high value specialist machinery or any other precious, high value item.

They are looking for reliable, capable team members to work from their Crawley premises.

You will be part of a busy team, taking drawings, measuring and cutting out the wooden panels to size, cutting any internal foam padding to shape and assembling with basic bench tools.

Skills required for this role will incorporate

Good practical skills working with wood, building and assembling structures/furniture etc
Comfortable working with power tools, nail guns and table saws
Working to high standards of finish and quality
Presentable and personable manner and team mindset.
Ability to work in a physical environment where lifting of wooden sheets is a daily requirement.

Ideally you will also have a full, UK riving license
Experience of operating a forklift.
