Job Title: Refrigeration Cleaning Technician (Case Maintenance Technician)

Location:Bangor, Northern Ireland

Working Hours:45 Hours Per Week (4 Nights, Mon - Thur)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for aRefrigeration Cleaning Technician (Case Maintenance)to join our company to carry out planned refrigeration case maintenance programme acrossseveral retail sitelocations in line with an agreed service level agreement.

As a Case Cleaning Technician,your job is to clean fridges and freezersby safely removing all stock, taking the units apart, and using chemicals and equipment to clean them thoroughly. After cleaning, you’ll reassemble the units and restock them, following safety rules and store procedures. This includes handling chemicals correctly and carefully removing and replacing products (known as de-merchandising and re-merchandising).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demerchandising & remerchandising of the refrigeration units.
  • To carry out all tasks assigned within the allotted time period to the satisfaction of the companyand client.
  • To work in a manner to support the achievement of company KPIs
  • Work with company and customer colleagues to ensure that laid-down standards of qualityare maintained at all times.
  • Qualifications / Experience:

  • A full driving license is essential.
  • Experience cleaning or maintenance in the retail industry is desirable.
  • Experience of refrigeration equipment is desierable.
  • The ideal candidate:

  • Willingness to work night shifts (Essential)
  • Degree of flexibility required. May be required to stay away from home.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • A hands-on, can-do and flexible approach to your work is an essential requirement.
