A nationwide carpet retailer is seeking a highly motivated Store Manager for their Huntingdon location. The role involves managing store operations, motivating staff, ensuring health and safety compliance, and providing excellent customer service. Candidates must have relevant experience in Carpet and Flooring management. The position requires working 5 out of 7 days, including possible overtime on weekends and holidays.

Carpet and Flooring Retail Store Manager
Carpets 4 Less have stores nationwide and are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused and above all friendly Store Manager who must be Experienced in Carpet & Flooring for our store in Huntingdon.
Previous management experience essential
Duties include:
* Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning work to employees.
* Maintain staff results by motivating, coaching and appraising job results.
* Protect employees and customers by following Health and Safety guidelines to provide a safe and clean store environment.
* Serving and providing professional advice to customers.
* Measuring and estimating with confidence in customers homes.
* Achieving financial objectives by meeting targets and initiating corrective actions where needed.
* Organising store paperwork and computerised systems necessary for the efficient day to day operation of the store.
* Taking responsibility for cash handling and banking.
* Ensuring the Showroom and Warehouse are fully stocked at all times.
* All staff are required to lift or move carpets on a daily basis.
The successful candidate will be required to work 5 out of 7 days, between 9am - 6pm with one late night where operated. Overtime may be required to ensure that the store is adequately staffed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
