Job summary

Professional Construction Recruitment's client, a leading specialist contractor, seeks an experienced Carpentry Supervisor to oversee high-end interior fit-out and refurbishment projects across the UK. You'll supervise site-based carpentry teams, ensure safe, efficient workmanship and maintain premium finishes on nationwide projects.

This hands-on role requires travel away from home during the week, with accommodation and travel costs provided.

Qualifications

• Extensive background in high-end carpentry (first and second fix).
• Experience supervising carpentry teams on fast-paced construction or fit-out projects.
• Strong eye for detail with a commitment to delivering premium finishes.

Responsibilities

• Supervising carpentry teams on high-end fit-out and refurbishment projects.
• Leading by example and maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship.
• Coordinating labour, materials and daily site activities.
• Working closely with Site Managers and Project Managers to keep programmes on track.
• Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Carrying out quality inspections and resolving any installation issues.
• Maintaining a professional and positive working relationship with clients and other trades on site.

Location: Nationwide (Travel Required) Salary: Excellent Package DOE + Accommodation + Expenses

Our client is a leading specialist contractor delivering premium interior fit-out and refurbishment projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Carpentry Supervisor to oversee high-end projects within the hospitality, leisure and commercial sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supervisor who takes real pride in quality craftsmanship and enjoys working on prestigious projects where attention to detail is everything.

The Role

You'll be responsible for supervising site-based carpentry teams, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to an exceptional standard. Projects are located nationwide, so you'll need to be happy working away from home during the week. Accommodation and associated travel costs will be provided.

• Happy to travel and work away on projects across the UK.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable (but not essential):

• SSSTS qualification.
• SMSTS.
• First Aid at Work.
• CSCS Card.
