Job summary

Exact Sourcing Limited is looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our growing team on commercial and residential sites. You will carry out a wide range of carpentry tasks, read blueprints, and work with hand and power tools, contributing to on-site milestones and a safe working environment.

You will survive on autonomy yet be part of a professional team, with a company van and fuel card provided. The role requires a CSCS card, a clean UK driving licence, and a proactive work ethic.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as a Carpenter (commercial and/or residential background).
• Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent time-served experience).
• Valid CSCS card.
• Full, clean UK driving licence (essential for operating the company van).
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of carpentry tasks depending on project requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to meet specification requirements.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively, keeping all equipment in good working order.
• Collaborate with site managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure project milestones are met.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment on all sites.

Due to expansion our client is looking for a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join their growing team. If you are the type of Carpenter that enjoys a varied workload, being part of a team and adding value to the various projects, then this role could be of interest to you.

Our client will provide a lovely van with a fuel card which will be assigned to the Carpenter who is the type of person that takes pride in their craftsmanship, works well independently and as part of a team, and is comfortable traveling to different sites.
