Job summary

Cheshire College South & West is seeking an inspirational Lecturer in Construction (Carpentry & Joinery – Multi-Skilled) at Ellesmere Port Campus. The role focuses on delivering practical training, assessments and progress tracking within a dynamic Construction department.

The post requires Level 3+ qualifications, a relevant assessor/verifier pathway, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Salary is £28,997–£43,748 per annum with a comprehensive benefits package and development

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the Construction industry.
• Willingness to achieve teaching qualifications if not already held.
• Experience in delivering multi-skill carpentry and joinery training.

Responsibilities

• Develop practical skills through demonstrations and instruction in practical workshops and realistic working environments.
• Assess learners against identified frameworks; and
• Keep accurate records for learners’ progress in College and the workplace.
