An exciting and challenging position has arisen for a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Carpenter / Joiner progressing to Level 3 within The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Support service installations and their maintenance are an essential part of the NHS and form a vital link in healthcare provision. The specific details of the apprenticeship may vary depending on several factors and training progress, but the overview below outlines the expected training requirements.
The main component of the apprenticeship is practical site carpentry training to Level 2 Standard, progressing to Level 3; the apprentice will attend college and may spend time on external sites.

The apprenticeship will start during the week commencing 25th August 2025, subject to employment checks. Entry qualifications include a minimum of GCSE Grade 4, or equivalent, in at least 5 subjects, including Mathematics.
