Job summary

WPS is seeking a Carpenter Multi Trader to join our Responsive Maintenance team in Crawley. You will deliver reactive maintenance services to residents under a social housing contract, carrying out repair and renewal works across properties.

Working independently or with colleagues, you will complete daily work sheets, advise when additional trades are required, and strive for timely, high-quality workmanship while maintaining excellent customer service and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• L2 NVQ in Carpentry or equivalent trade.
• Proven carpentry and multi-trade experience.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain high workmanship standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out repair and renewal works across various properties.
• Advising your Supervisor when additional trades are needed.
• Working independently or collaboratively with other operatives.
• Completing daily work sheets detailing tasks and materials used.
• Ensuring timely and productive completion of assigned tasks.
