Gilmartins is recruiting experienced Carpenter Multi Traders with additional skills such as basic plumbing & electrics, patch plastering, and tiling.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in social housing.

We work in social housing and provide reactive repairs for local authorities and housing associations.

This role involves work and travel in the South West London area, covering main postcodes including SE11, SE21, SE27, and SW9.

Properties are located across these areas, requiring regular travel.

Gilmartins is a family-owned business that values its staff and promotes from within. Our Board of Directors mostly started on the tools, understanding the work firsthand.

Role Responsibilities:

• Carry out property repairs and maintenance in social housing
• Work according to Scope of Works on PDA for each job

Requirements:

• Full UK manual driving license (not EU or automatic)
• Own tools required
• Experience in social housing (preferred)
• DBS certificate

Working Hours:

8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, with call-outs as required, approximately once every 4 weeks. On-call hours are from Monday to Sunday, 5pm to 1am, with pay (£35-£50 per call out).
