Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking a Carpenter Multi trade to service social housing residents in Northampton. The role involves installing and repairing doors, windows and frames, plus associated plumbing and finish work across local properties.

Ideal candidates have previous multi-trade carpentry experience, basic maintenance skills, and own tools. A driving licence and DBS willingness are preferred for site access and ongoing work within residents’ homes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in carpenter multi trade and property maintenance.
• Experience working in social housing or occupied residential properties.
• Own tools included.
• Comfort with recording work on a smartphone or tablet.
• Full UK driving licence and own van.
• Willing to undergo a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Installing and repairing internal and external doors, windows and frames.
• Carrying out locksmithing and entry works, including lock changes.
• Carrying out basic carpentry maintenance and multi-trade repairs.
• Undertaking plumbing, plastering, tiling, decorating and general maintenance.
• Carrying out carpentry works and assisting with general repairs in residents' homes.
