A property solutions provider is seeking a Carpenter Multi Skilled Trade to join their repairs and maintenance team. This role involves completing carpentry and basic plumbing repairs in social housing properties in Stratford-upon-Avon. The ideal candidate will possess NVQ/City & Guilds qualifications in Carpentry and a full UK driving license. Benefits include a competitive salary, company van, and generous annual leave.
The role
Due to continued successful growth, we have an excellent permanent opportunity to join our Fortem team at Orbit Housing as a Carpenter Multi Skilled Trade in the repairs and maintenance team.
The Carpenter Multi Trade will be responsible for various property maintenance and repairs in Social Housing Properties, utilizing core carpentry skills and basic plumbing. You will cover a patch in Stratford Upon Avon and surrounding areas, so travel is essential.
Core hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. A work van and fuel card are provided!
As a Carpenter Multi Trade, you will ensure all work is completed to a high standard with minimal supervision. You will take ownership of your work, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs, operating within company health and safety guidelines, and staying within budget and time constraints, all while maintaining professionalism and courtesy around tenants.

Fortem's contract with Orbit Housing covers over 17,000 properties across Stratford-upon-Avon, Leamington Spa, Coventry, Nuneaton, Northampton, Milton Keynes, and Bedford.
