Job summary

Compass is seeking an experienced carpenter/joiner to work on staircase refurbishment, renovation and replacement projects in residential properties across the South of England. The role requires a minimum of five years' carpentry experience, a full UK driving licence and the ability to travel to properties in Hampshire and surrounding areas.

You will deliver high-quality workmanship and maintain professional standards on every project.

Salary: Circa £46,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience

The role

You'll work on staircase refurbishment, renovation and replacement projects in residential properties across the South of England.

Every property and project is different, so attention to detail, a professional approach and pride in your craftsmanship are essential.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Refurbishing, renovating and replacing staircases in residential properties.
• Carrying out carpentry and joinery work to a high standard.
• Working effectively alongside experienced colleagues while being confident completing tasks independently.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and paying close attention to the finished result.

You’ll Need

• At least five years' experience in carpentry.
• A full, valid UK driving licence.
• The ability to travel to customer properties across Hampshire and the surrounding areas as required.
• A friendly, respectful and professional manner when working in customers' homes.
• The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in staircase refurbishment, staircase installation or specialist joinery would be a real advantage but by no means essential!

Salary, hours and benefits

Salary: circa £46,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience.

Full-time position, approximately 42.5 hours per week.
