Contract: Permanent, Full-time, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
We are seeking a dedicated Carpenter to join our team at HMP The Verne, a category C adult male prison. Join a team that works Monday to Friday as a supportive family, working together to create a safe and nurturing environment. HMP The Verne functions like a self-contained town, requiring hundreds of staff to operate effectively. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, you will contribute to the smooth and safe operation of the facility, impacting prisoners, staff, visitors, and the wider community.
As a Carpenter inc Locksmith, you will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference.
