Thorn Baker Construction is seeking an experienced Carpenter to work on a listed barn in Streatley, Berkshire. The role focuses on repairing and conserving original oak beams, rafters and trusses while retaining historic fabric.

You will source and fit replacement oak timbers using traditional carpentry techniques, and perform sensitive repairs that respect the building's listed status. A CSCS card is required and parking is available on site.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required.
• Experience with older and listed buildings.
• Two relevant references.
