Job summary

A local recruitment agency is seeking a Carpenter for a 6-month contract in the Vale of Glamorgan. The ideal candidate will undertake a variety of carpentry tasks and work independently or with a team. A minimum of 2 years of experience and NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry are required. Pay rates range from £16.60 to £21.17 per hour, with the possibility of contract extension.

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Vale of Glamorgan to assist with the appointment of a Carpenter, on a 6-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £16.60 - £21.17 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Undertake general carpentry tasks including fitting, repairing, and maintaining wooden structures and fixtures.
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned projects on time.
• Support other trades when required and diversify depending on work demands.
• Ensure work is completed to high standards in line with safety and building regulations.
• Drive to various sites as required for project completion.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Carpentry.
• Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to adapt and work on a range of carpentry-related tasks.
